ON LABOR DAY, the Holbrook Community Foundation held a breakfast on Holbrook’s Wharf in Cundy’s Harbor. People flocked from near and far to enjoy shrimp and spinach or ham and cheese quichés, poached salmon, ham and egg sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, muffins, pork and beans or vegetarian beans with pineapple chunks, white or yellow grits, coffee cake and lots of bacon, sausages or ham. All proceeds went to support the foundation.
