BRUNSWICK Traffic was backed up along Interstate 295 northbound late Friday morning when a sport utility vehicle and the camper trailer it was towing rolled over. The crash was reported at 10:49 a.m. near mile marker 26 in Brunswick. Maine State Trooper Marvin Hinkley said a Chevrolet TrailBlazer driven by 50-year-old Wayne Curry of Windham was towing a two-axle camper trailer, which may have been too large for the SUV. The camper started to fishtail and eventually, the SUV and camper went off the right side of the road and rolled over. Curry’s wife and three girls were also in the Chevy when it rolled. One of the girls was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, Hinkley said. Traffic was reduced to one lane until about noon and traffic was snarled, but the road did not have to be closed. Curry’s Chevrolet TrailBlazer was totaled and the shell of the camper started to separate so there was a lot of debris on the ground, Hinkley said. No charges were filed.
