GREENE, Maine — A 59-year-old man has been killed after his motorcycle collided with a waste/recycling truck in Greene.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department says Michael Busque of Readfield died at the scene of the accident at 12:10 p.m. Monday. Busque was trying to pass a truck operated by 31-year-old Nathaniel Greenwood of Auburn, which was making a left turn.

Authorities say Busque was not wearing a helmet.
