PORTLAND — Easter Seals ME will host Port Quest on Saturday, Aug. 25. Port Quest is a scavenger hunt that will challenge participants to solve clues, complete challenges and experience downtown Portland in a fun, new way all while raising money for families with disabilities.
A news release describes the scavenger hunt as follows:
Teams can participate in Port Quest competitively, leisurely or in the family-fun division. During the event, participants will take part in a scavenger hunt throughout the Old Port, work together to solve clues and brainteasers, as well as take on some “physical challenges” that will lead them on a unique quest, compete for great prizes and fabulous incentives, and mingle with other teams at the celebration area where there will be music, local vendors and other surprises.
The first 50 teams to register will have each participant entered to win two round-trip airline tickets on JetBlue. Additionally, local sponsors are offering incentives and discounts to participants on the afternoon of Aug. 25, following the event.
