BATH — Jason Gibbons, a basketball entertainer known locally as “White Shadow” and Ed Hall, grand master at Hall’s Olympic Martial Arts in Bath will host “Bouncing Out Bullying” at Bath Middle School on Friday at 6 p.m.

The event is free and sponsored by Teens of America, a non-profit organization that, according to their website, “encourage, train, and equip teens with the necessary tools to break the chains of negative choice” related to crime and substance abuse.

A news release from hosts describes the event as follows:

Dax Catalano, a victim of an attack that stemmed from a cyber-bullying incident, will be the main speaker at the event. Steve Webster, president of the Maine Association of Police, will speak as well.

Gibbons will show off some basketball tricks and Master Hall will demonstrate martial arts, along with several of his students.

Maine Red Claws’ mascot Crusher will help out with a munchkin slam dunk contest for ages 7 and under, and hand out prizes. There will be a foul shot contest and threepoint shooting competition for all all ages, including adults. A bouncy house and arts and crafts section, as well as interactive games and giveaways for all ages will also be provided.
