BRUNSWICK — Ron Thompson, from the Southern Maine Astronomy Club will give a free talk titled “Astronomy 101: Everything you wanted to know about astronomy, but never asked” at 6:30 p.m. today at Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant St.
“He will talk about astronomy from the ‘Big Bang’ to today and what’s up there to see, for the ‘backyard astronomer,’” a library release states.
Sponsored by Cornerstones of Science, the free program will take place in the Morrell Meeting Room. No registration is required.
