PHIPPSBURG — The Unity Circle of Phippsburg will hold its annual fair at Sebasco Harbor Resort on Wednesday.
This year’s annual quilt raffle features a quilt in the Orange Peel design, made by the Unity Circle quilt ladies, according to a release.
The Unity Circle was founded in 1952 to include ladies from all areas of Phippsburg. The Circle’s mission is to raise funds to give financial support to area organizations, and the annual fair is the major source of the funds.
Funds have supported area churches, the Salvation Army, The Times Record Santa Claus Fund, a Paw in the Door, the Maine Seacoast Mission and the Bath Area Food Bank, among other organizations.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
