Caston-Talbot joins P&C Insurance
Heather Caston-Talbot has joined P&C Insurance as an account manager, according to an announcement from company president Don Ballute.
Caston-Talbot is responsible for servicing customer accounts, working closely with account executives ensuring service quality.
Caston-Talbot lives in Westbrook with her husband, Christian; daughter Kyleigh and stepson Caleb. She started her insurance career in 1999 and has worked in many capacities over the years.
In May, Caston-Talbot was installed as president of The Insurance Professionals of Greater Portland, where she has been an active member since 2008. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, disc-golfing, hiking and camping. She also is a guitarist and singer/songwriter.

Tickets available for Eagles show
Westbrook Eagles 2977, 89 Saco St., is hosting comic relief with Hope Rogers and Friends 8-11 p.m. on Saturday, July 28.

‘Hurricanes’
in concert
The “Hurricanes” will perform 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, in Riverbank Park on Main Street.
The concert is part of a free summer series.
American Legion Post 62 sells an array of fresh food and beverages during the concerts. Russ Glidden, post manager, said post members grill and serve hamburgers and hot dogs. Glidden said other menu items include chili and strawberry shortcake.
Ruby Tuesday to benefit library friends
Jennifer Santomauro, adult services librarian, has announced that Friends of Walker Memorial Library is having a local fundraising event Tuesday, July 24, through Thursday, July 26, at Ruby Tuesday, 11 Main St., Westbrook.
The restaurant, as part of its Community Giveback program, during the three days will give back 20 percent of purchases to the Friends of Walker Memorial Library. Customers must present a flyer, which are available at the library, to their server at the restaurant.
