BRUNSWICK — Occupy Maine of Bath/Brunswick and the Women’s League for Peace and Freedom will host a free screening of “PRICELE$$” at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Morrell Meeting Room at Curtis Memorial Library.
The documentary film “tells the story of the pervasive influence of special interest money on politics,” according to a release from the sponsoring organizations. “It follows the money trail through two national policies that affect the everyday lives of most citizens: agriculture and energy.
The evening will end with an opportunity to share thoughts and concerns raised by the film.
Entry to the Morrell Meeting Room is from the library’s Middle Street entrance.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
