BATH — The Plant Home beat Montsweag Roadhouse, 13-8 in Cal Ripken Baseball action on Wednesday.
The Plant Home combined timely hitting with 18 walks to secure the victory.
Isaak Flaming and Thomas Warren both doubled, and Sam Kirkpatrick and Logan Pelletier singled. Josiah Yeaton pitched two strong innings, striking out four and giving up three runs, and Flaming struck out the three batters he faced in the third. Makail Tipton played solid behind the plate.
For Montsweag, Zach Lay struck out three in two innings of mound work, and Cam Footer played well behind the plate.
