BATH — In Bath Cal Ripken Baseball action over the weekend, Montsweag Road House won two games.
Against Roy Farmer from Wiscasset, Road House slipped by, 11-10. Dylan Melvin had eight strikeouts and Zack Lay contributed with two strikeouts in two innings. Each also had a hit and run scored, as did Spencer Dahmand. Cameron Footer went 2-for-3 with two runs.
On the other side of the ball, Quinn Ranca pitched four innings, striking out 10 and going 2-for-3 with a run scored for Roy Farmer. Aiden Aberegg got two hits, while Owen Barter went 2-for-3 with two runs and pitched the closing inning.
On Saturday the Road House traveled to Brunswick to face off with Serve Pro and prevailed, 9-6.
The home team had Jack St. Pierre and Evan Cox combining on three innings with four strikeouts, while St. Pierre helped his own cause with a hit, run scored and RBI. Ben Wilson chipped in with a two-run triple.
For Road House, Jack Leonard pitched three innings and allowed one run with seven strikeouts, including striking out the side to end the game.
Footer, Leonard and Logan Scott (two-run double) each had a hit. Seth Stachmus also had a hit and RBI.
