In a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B contest on Tuesday at Kelley Field, Morse was shut down by Medomak Valley hurler Ryan Ripley through five innings, trailing 2-1.

But, the Shipbuilders exploded for five runs in the sixth inning to pull out a 6-2 victory, improving the team’s mark to 11-2 with Camden Hills (6-7) slated to visit today at 4:15 p.m.
