AUGUSTA — Concerned Women for America of Maine, in conjunction with 40 Days for Life, will sponsor an hour of prayer in front of Family Planning Association on Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m.
Athough the 40 Days for Life vigil to end abortion officially ends on Sunday, prayer will continue at the Family Planning Association.
Wednesday’s event will be a time of prayer for Protestant pro-lifers.
Every Tuesday morning there will be a group praying the Rosary for Life, and people will be outside the Family Planning abortion center every hour from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursdays (when abortions are scheduled). On Good Friday, April 6, there will be the Stations of the Cross.
For more information, call CWA of Maine at 465-6015.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
