RICHMOND — Nomination papers are available for municipal positions in Richmond.
Two three- year terms on the Board of Selectmen are available. The terms of Selectman Clarence Cummins and Selectwoman Jennifer Greenleaf will expire June 12. According to deputy clerk James Valley, Cummins has taken out papers.
A three-year term on the Richmond Utilities District board of trustees is available. Board member Robert Bodge Jr.’s term expires June 30. He has taken out papers to run for re-election, according to Valley.
Nominations are sought for two three-year terms on the Budget Committee. The term of Jane Alexander expires in June, and there is a vacancy on the committee.
A position on the Regional School Unit 2 board of directors is up for grabs. Carrie Long’s one-year term is up.
Nomination papers are due at the town office by the end of business hours April 30. Valley said nomination papers require at least 25 signatures and no more than 100 signatures of registered voters who live in Richmond. The clerk’s office generally recommends people gather at least 30 signatures to provide a margin of error for signatures that might not be valid.
