BATH — Springer’s Jewelers of Bath has announced the hiring of jewelry professional Robert Allen for its Front Street store.
Allen, who has spent the last six years as an awardwinning, free-lance writer and artist, will focus on diamond and colored gemstone jewelry, both new and estate.
“Expanding of our store’s team at this time will strengthen our ability to meet our increasing customer demands,” said Ben McDaniel, certified gemologist appraiser and manager of Springer’s Bath store.
Allen’s previous experience includes having his own store, R.D. Allen Jewelers of Freeport, from 1988 to 2006.
“It’s a special opportunity to work with a great team. I want to fit in — help them take care of the wonderful people in and around Bath,” Allen said.
Allen and his family live in Freeport.
