PORTLAND — The Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference and Western Maine Conference recently released the final regular-season statistics for boys high school basketball.
Brunswick’s Mitchell Black finished eighth in the KVAC in points per game with 13.7. He was also second in steals/game (3.3), seventh in assists/game (3.3) and tied for ninth with 23 3-pointers.
The Dragons were fifth in the conference in points allowed with 48.4 a contest, while the offense was eighth at 51.4.
Mt. Ararat was 10th in scoring (49.6) and 13th in points allowed (61.8).
In the WMC, Freeport forward Mitch Loeman averaged 14.7 points a contest to finish eighth, while teammate Josh Weirich’s 7.4 rebounds/game placed him in a tie for sixth.
