PORTLAND ( AP) — University of Maine System trustees are poised to name the new chancellor.

The announcement will be made Monday after the board’s executive committee meets at the University of Southern Maine.

The finalists are Meredith Hay, a special adviser to the chair of the Arizona Board of Regents for Strategic Initiatives; James Page, CEO of the James W. Sewall Co. in Old Town; and Rebecca Wyke, vice chancellor for finance and administration at the University of Maine System.

All three recently toured several campuses and met with students, employees, and administrators. They’re vying to replace Chancellor Richard Pattenaude, who is retiring.
