BOWDOINHAM — Darlene R. Libby, 72, of the Post Rd. died after a short illness on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston.
She was born on January 1, 1940 in Augusta.
Darlene retired from the Department of Public Safety in 1999 as a payroll supervisor. She later went on to work part time for Hannaford’s as a cashier, just to stay busy.
She enjoyed gardening and particularly time spent with her grandchildren.
Darlene predeceased by a son George Libby Jr., she is survived by her husband of 50 plus years George Libby Sr., of Bowdoinham, daughters Melinda Burrell of Bowdoinham, Hope Bezanson of Richmond, Heather Ruona of Richmond, Tammy Dersham of Richmond, many grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Per Darlene’s request burial services will be private.
Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home 130 Pleasant St. Richmond, Maine 04357.
