Kate Shaffer will be at Longfellow Books in Portland to share sweet recipes and stories, in time for Valentine’s Day. Shaffer, of Isle Au Haut, is author of the book “Desserted: Recipes and Tales from an Island Chocolatier.” The book has a foreword by well-known fishing boat captain and author Linda Greenlaw.
