BATH — The Morse High School girls freshman basketball team played three games this past weekend in a freshman play date at Oceanside High School, winning two out of three contests.
Playing 15-minute halves, Morse opened with a 23- 10 loss to Gardiner. Taylor Johnson was the Shipbuilder Player of the Game.
In the second game, Morse downed Medomak Valley 26- 21 behind top player Morgan Cram.
The Shipbuilders finished off the day by downing host Oceanside 21-18. Cordelia Leeman hit a winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift Morse.
