Gospel artists concert
First Fruits Ministries presents “A Mid-winter Christian Artists Evening,” at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, at First Evangelical Free Church, 355 Bridgton Road, Westbrook.
Featured artists are Michael Jones, Dan Merrill, Steve Espling, Keith and Jennifer Parry, and Mark Farrington. Admission is free but a love offering will be taken.
Seniors midwinter outing
Westbrook Senior Citizens will dine on Thursday, Jan. 12, at DiMillo’s Floating Restaurant in Portland before seeing the Portland Players’ production “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

Walker offers free computer class
Walker Memorial Library, 800 Main St., is deep into the digital age and invites everyone to learn more about computers at the library.
On Wednesdays, Jan. 25, through March 14, the staff will hold computer discussion classes 10:30-11:15 a.m. The library will offer short discussion and demonstrations related to computers and what they can do for you.
All sessions are free, and are limited to six persons at each session.
Each Wednesday, staff and guests will walk participants through the following topics:
Jan. 25, computer basics; Feb. 1, how to set up an email account; Feb. 8, how to build a resume; Feb. 15, how to find practice tests for exams online; Feb. 22, where do I go to find a job online? Feb. 29, how to Skype; March 7, what can you do with your smart phone at your library? March 14, QR code application.
