FREEPORT — At 6: 30 p. m. Tuesday, the Freeport Town Council will convene in regular session.
Following a vote to approve minutes from the council’s Dec. 20 meeting, announcements, and a 30-minute public comment period, councilors will consider the following items:
— Public hearing and possible action on proposed amendments to the traffic and parking ordinance concerning parking on Morse Street.
— Public hearing and possible action on proposed amendments to the directional sign ordinance concerning directional signs on Route 1 for Stonewood Drive.
— Proposed amendments to the street lighting criteria policy.
— Proposed amendments to the rules of order and procedures for the council.
— Update on quiet zone report status by Sandy Updegraph, executive director of the Freeport Economic Development Corp.
— Discussion of council goals for 2012.
— Informational exchange.
