Forty-nine-year-old Michael Littlefield of Brooks was scheduled to be sentenced Friday afternoon in Waldo County Superior Court under a plea bargain. Terms were disclosed.

Littlefield is charged with murdering Debbie Littlefield on June 25, 2010.

Police wrote in an arrest affidavit that Michael Littlefield told a friend he had shot his wife because she was “ragging” him over his muffler purchase. They met in high school and had been married 30 years.
