PORTLAND — The public is invited to view recent renovations to the Portland Public Library’s Riverton Branch on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.

The free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Portland Public Library.

The overall goal of the renovatiion project was to improve the quality of the user experience at Riverton. Collections have been reorganized, clutter reduced, and the space is easier to navigate.

The Riverton branch library reopened for business earlier this week.
