Monday, May 16

Criminal mischief – Ninth Street, 10:49 a.m. Upon responding to possible illegal entry at a residence, officers found water damage on a ceiling. It was discovered that an upper-floor toilet was leaking, having apparently been “tampered with.”

Threatening/terrorizing – Rosehill Way, 4 p.m. A female occupant reported that her husband had “threatened to break into the home to get some of his belongings.”

Disturbance/fight – Ross Road, 5:47 p.m. Officers responded to a call concerning an 18-year-old male, who allegedly was “threatening” his father over a missing guitar.

Suspicious person/shots fired – Holmes Road, 10:15 p.m. A resident reported hearing a gun shot and, upon looking outside, saw the taillights of a vehicle speeding away. According to the incident report, one tire of a vehicle in the driveway was flattened by a bullet.

Tuesday, May 17

Disturbance – Municipal Drive, 12:12 p.m. Police responded to the high school, where a male student was reported to be “confrontational with an administrator.” The student was found to be “calm” when officers arrived.

Theft – Payne Road, 12:36 p.m. A large-screen television was reported stolen from Sam’s Club on the previous Sunday.

Wednesday, May 18

Theft – Herbert Road, 1:30 a.m. A 5,000-watt Husky generator was stolen from the back yard of a home. The thieves had liberated it by cutting the chain that attached it to a post.

Threatening/terrorizing – Quentin Drive, 2:09 p.m. A note was found at Scarborough Middle School claiming that a bomb would be set off “on Friday.” A male student was identified as the author.

Threatening/terrorizing – Route 1, 5:09 p.m. Police responded to Coastal Pawn and Gifts, where a male who missed the payment due date on pawned items was threatening to “get even.”

Thursday, May 19

Recovered vehicle – Pleasant Hill Road, 1:08 a.m. A 1999 Dodge 2500 pick-up, reported stolen in South Portland, was found in the parking lot of Lifestyle Fitness.

Friday, May 20

Vandalism – Ash Swamp Road, 6:12 a.m. A resident reported beer bottles thrown at his parked vehicle. Although the missiles missed the mark this time, the rear-window of the complainant’s car was recently smashed under similar circumstances.

Juvenile offense – Old Blue Point Road, 8:42 p.m. A resident reported “five to six” boys repeatedly banging on his door and running away.

Saturday, May 21

Non-criminal complaint – Grandview Drive, 9:25 a.m. A male resident called police to allege harassment by his female neighbor, whom he accused of videotaping him while he was on his back deck. According to police, the two have a history, including mutual protective orders.

Stolen vehicle – Snow Canning Road, 12:09 p.m. A white Sierra GMC was reported stolen from the lot of Blue Cold Distributers. It turns out a tow truck sent to pick up a similar-looking vehicle grabbed the wrong one.

Noise disturbance – Saco Street, 6:05 p.m. Police responded to a call of shots fired. They determined that a firearm had been discharged, but that no laws were broken.

Sunday, May 22

Harassment – Pine Point Road, 9:56 a.m. A female reported receiving harassing calls from her landlord. Police determined he was requesting payment of $400 in back-due rent.

Stolen vehicle – Scarborough Downs Road, 3:15 p.m. A blue and silver 1999 Harley-Davidson XL Sportster motorcycle, valued at $5,500, was reported stolen from the Scarborough Downs parking lot.

Vehicle burglary – Gorham Road, 5:28 p.m. A purse and a wallet were taken from a vehicle at the Nonesuch River Golf Course. While an officer was taking the report, one of the missing credit cards was reportedly used at Target, where $1,800 in merchandise was purchased.

Vincent Guerrero, 49, of Windham, on Manson Libby Road at 2:12 p.m. on charges of violating probation or parole and possessing a usable amount of marijuana.

Friday, May 20

Benjamin T. Watts, 24, of South Portland, on Pine Point Road at 1:29 a.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence.

Harrison W. Smith, 19, of South Portland, on Colonial Drive at 1:42 a.m. following a motor vehicle accident, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence and operating a motor vehicle beyond license restrictions.

Kelly A. Bernier, 46, of Falmouth, on Route 1 at 11:01 p.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence after refusing to be tested.

Saturday, May 21

Michael Barnes Jr., 32, of Brooklyn, N.Y., on Payne Road at 11:11 a.m. on charges of aggravated forgery, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

Esley W. Porteous, 27, of Brooklyn, N.Y., on Payne Road at 11:11 a.m. on charges of aggravated forgery and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Terrell J. Campbell, 25, of Brooklyn, N.Y., on Payne Road at 11:11 a.m. on charges of aggravated forgery and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
