1/16 at 1:59 a.m. John C. Rogers, 52, of Hawthorne Circle, was issued a summons by Officer Charles Perkins on Hawthorne Circle on a charge of operating under the influence.

Gone, but not for long
1/13 at 9:55 a.m. A landlord of a recently vacated apartment on Main Street contacted police to report a bookshelf and dresser were missing from the furnished apartment. Police report the incident was a mistake since the people helping the tenant move out and did not know the items weren’t hers. Everything was returned.
Suspicious reading
1/14 at 4:15 p.m. Police were contacted to investigate a suspicious incident at a bank on Route 1. The caller reportedly told police a person was inside a parked car with coats blocking the windows. When police arrived, they reportedly found a person sitting inside the vehicle reading the newspaper. The car’s windows were tinted.
