FALMOUTH — Monica Howland knocked in a rebound with 1:47 left in overtime to give Greely a 1-0 win over Falmouth in a girls’ hockey game Monday at Family Ice Center.
Etta Copenhagen was credited with an assist. Emma Seymour stopped 13 shots to record the shutout for Greely (8-2-1).
Jen Greene made 32 saves for the Yachtsmen (6-7).
CHEVERUS 2, LEWISTON 1: Katie Roy and Sarah LaQuerre scored first-period goals to help the Stags (8-4) recover from an early deficit against the Blue Devils (2-9-2) at the Colisee.
Taylor Witham finished with 22 saves for Cheverus.
SCARBOROUGH 3, PORTLAND 1: Meghan Doiron and Rachel Wallace scored in the first 1:11 of the second period as the Red Storm (9-1-2) beat the Bulldogs (4-6-1) at Portland Ice Arena.
Gabby St. Angelo added an insurance goal 54 seconds into the third period.
Portland opened the scoring 5:15 into the game on a goal by Drew Barry.
YARMOUTH 12, GORHAM/BONNY EAGLE 5: Courtney Barker scored four goals for the Clippers (3-9), who used six unanswered third-period goals to pull away from Gorham/Bonny Eagle (0-12) at Yarmouth.
Ariel Potter added three goals and Meredith McLoon had a goal and three assists.
Rachel Litif had two goals and an assist for Gorham/Bonny Eagle.
YORK 3, CAPE ELIZABETH/WAYNFLETE 1: Cari Posternak and Nicci Heroux scored less than a minute apart midway through the third period as the Wildcats (9-3-1) beat Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete (2-10) at Dover Ice Arena.
Heroux finished with a pair of goals and Julia Hird had two assists.
Madeline Ciraldo scored for Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete to tie the game midway through the second period.
BASKETBALL
SANFORD 45, BONNY EAGLE 34: Taylor Flood and Lindsey Nolette scored 11 points apiece, and the Redskins (7-3) held the Scots (5-6) to 11 points in the second half as they rallied for a win at Standish.
Bonny Eagle was paced by Alicia Hoyt with 10 points.
GREELY 41, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 33: Haylee Munson scored eight of her 15 points in the fourth quarter to help the Rangers (9-2) hold off the Patriots (5-5) at Cumberland.
Caton Beaulieu was 4 of 4 from the free-throw line in the fourth to help seal the victory. Chelsea Bridges added 10 points.
Alicia Valente scored 10 points for Gray-New Gloucester.
BRUNSWICK 42, MT. ARARAT 22: Dakota Foster and Becky Champagne each scored 10 points in the first half as the Dragons (7-4) raced out to a 31-7 halftime lead against the Eagles (4-7) at Topsham.
Foster finished with 12 points, and Champagne had 10 steals to go along with her 10 points.
GEORGES VALLEY 60, WISCASSET 43: Jill Bradbury and Kennadi Grover each scored 14 points to lead the Buccaneers (7-4) over the Redskins (0-11) at Thomaston.
Kayla Connors scored 18 points and Alli Johnson had 12 for Wiscasset.
