1. Biddeford
A program that has come a long way this decade, Biddeford just may turn the corner this year and make a deep run. This team, according to its coach has it all: physical ability, talent, and the right mentality..
2. Falmouth
Lost several key standouts from last year’s remarkable run to the state title game, but will likely still contend. The Yachtsmen have developed significant depth and should be highly competitive.
3. Greely
Lost significant power and experience, but these perennial contenders always seem to build through the season and contend for the state title. Expect this season to be a little bumpy, but watch for a run at the end.
4. Scarborough A sleeper pick for the top-5, the Red Storm has a new coach and is led by 6-foot-2 Brittany Bona, a blocking force. This team just may make a run.
5. Yarmouth
The Clippers have a young team and will be a work in progress with just four returning varsity players. But they should be in the mix and contend down the stretch.
