Annual Yard Sale
Madeline Roberts has started planning for the Fourth Annual Yard Sale on May 8 to benefit the Food Pantry. Small appliances, kids games and puzzles, dish sets, small appliances, cooking dishes, small furniture items, lamps – just anything a family can pick up at little cost. This will help raise money for the pantry. The sale in 2009 made $1,700, which was designated for Christmas. Thanks to that support, 326 children benefited. It appears 2010 will have more demand for services. Yard sale donations will be accepted now through April 30 for the May 8 sale.

The 7 p.m. program will be a presentation of Windham’s Old Schools, using a PowerPoint presentation of photos obtained from old slides and pictures tucked away in the archives.
