Nicole Gleason, Lindsay Gleason, Dawn Staples, and Ann Hopkins were among the many Bonny Eagle supporters who enjoyed the Gold for the Greenhouse dinner and auction, which was held recently at Bonny Eagle Middle School. Entertainment was provided by the Middle School jazz band and improvisational group. Greenhouse tours were given. Enough money was raised to almost cover all remaining construction costs of the greenhouse. This event also helped raise food security awareness in the community, and profiled the school and the farm as progressive community leaders who are doing something good for a lot of people in the community.
