Members of the American Legion Post 128 Auxiliary in Standish have knitted a quilt that will be sent to a serviceman or woman injured while serving in the military. The Auxiliary has also adopted a platoon, sending care packages to soldiers overseas. Standing are Doris Deschaine, Florence Stevens, Carolyn Davis and Meredith Roubo. Janet Heggeman, Mary Chapman, Mary Ann Clay and Judy Jewett are in the front row. Chapman, Bobbi Pinkham and Esther Libby also made helmet liners and scarves to be sent to troops.
