If you have extra sheets, save them for the sake of history.

Windham Historical Society preserves articles from Windham’s history to share with the public, especially the schoolchildren. Antique clothing, quilts and other textile items need to be wrapped in cotton sheets. If anyone has old, worn clean cotton sheets and/or pillowcases, the Society could use them.

Beginning in May, the Society will be open Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and these items can be dropped off during those times. They are always looking for such things as phone books from the early 1900s, collections of newspaper clippings relating to Windham, old Windham calendars, old photos, postcards and items of Windham interest.
