Over 170 years ago, Timothy Hanson built this three-story brick building on the corner of Main Street and what was then Cross Street (now Depot Street) in South Windham. He ran a grocery store here, as did his son, many years later. In the 1900s, the building contained a laundromat, a beauty salon and other small businesses in the thriving village. It is still the only three (and a half!) story brick building in Windham.
