Twelve students from Cheverus High School were selected to perform at the two-day District II Honors Instrument Music Festival at Yarmouth High School.

Chosen for the Jan. 30-31 festival were: violinists Emily LaVerriere of Biddeford and Allison Saunders and Katherine Saunders, both of Saco; Dan DuDevoir, Biddeford, viola; Timothy Woods, Portland, cello; Sarah Shapiro, North Waterboro, bass; Seong Jun Bae, Portland, oboe; Katherine Moreshead, South Portland, clarinet; Emma Shapiro, North Waterboro, bassoon; Liam Swords, Scarborough, trumpet; Mirian Nielsen, Sidney, trumpet; and Molly Cloutier, Raymond, French horn.
