Residents are invited to a dinner hosted by the Casco helping Casco committee Jan. 24.
The potluck dinner will be held at Crooked River Elementary School at 5 p.m.
The Casco helping Casco committee, which formed last year to help local residents who struggle to pay for heat and food, has raised over $15,000 and donated 30 boxes of food to the town’s food pantries.
For the month of January the Casco Fire Association is sponsoring a daily raffle for Longaberger baskets, pottery, wrought iron products and more to raise money for Casco helping Casco.
For the potluck dinner, those whose names start with the letters A-K should bring beans or a casserole, L-R should bring salad and S-Z should bring dessert. Everyone is encouraged to bring a donation of non-perishable food.
