This vehicle is known as a stage auto (as opposed to a horse-drawn stage coach) and is parked at John Doherty’s Main Street stable. The vehicle traveled between Windham, Raymond and South Casco back in 1909. Note the John Deere sign over the door of the building to the left. (From Windham Historical Society collections).
