At one time or another, each of us has pondered the purpose of our lives. Why am I here? Where am I going? What is the purpose of my life?

The Unity Church of Greater Portland on 54 River Road in Windham will be holding a class Wednesday July 9 and 16 at 6:30 p.m. entitled “Finding Your Life Purpose.”

This class will focus on discovering that purpose. It will be facilitated by Joan Chadbourne, a former professor of counseling psychology at the University of Connecticut.

Chadbourne is a counseling psychologist and coach who is co-authoring a book on this topic. She will guide participants through a series of activities and exercises that are designed to explore the course and direction of their lives. Members of the class

will reflect on the meaning of their life and attempt to discern what their soul is calling them to do.
