The following cases were handled recently in Portland District Court:

March 25

Aaron Filieo, 33, of South Portland paid by waiver a fine of $150 for operating a vehicle without a license in South Portland on Feb. 6, 2008.

Micah J. Rice, 26, of Old Orchard Beach paid by waiver a fine of $150 for operating after registration was suspended in Scarborough on Aug. 23, 2007.

Swenson Excavation of Saco paid by waiver a fine of $100 for failure to register vehicle in Scarborough on Nov. 13, 2007.

Eric W. Webster, 19, of Porter had a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in South Portland on Aug. 4, 2007, dismissed.

Marion Withem, 39, of Wells was found guilty on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in South Portland on Feb. 9, 2008, and was fined $300.

March 26

Densmore A. Grass, 37, of Brewer paid by waiver a fine of $100 for possessing more than 13 days duty status records in Scarborough on Feb. 20, 2008.

March 27

Orie James Gerber, 51, of Wellesley paid by waiver a fine of $250 for rule violation – operation 11 hour rule – in South Portland on March 3, 2008.

March 28

Jamie Anthony, 18, of Cape Elizabeth paid by waiver a fine of $250 for operating while license was suspended or revoked in Cape Elizabeth Jan. 18, 2008.

Matthew H. Beal, 38, of Mission, Kan., was found guilty on a charge possessing marijuana in South Portland on Oct. 25, 1989 and was fined $154.55. He was found guilty by default on a charge of sale and use of drug paraphernalia in Scarborough on Feb. 26, 1995, and was fined $100.

Kris M. Capalbo, 36, of Auburn was found guilty on a charge of operating motor vehicle outside class in Scarborough on Jan. 15, 2008, and was fined $250.

Central Transport Inc. of Warren, Mich., paid by waiver a fine of $250 for rule violation, unsafe loading in Scarborough on Feb. 9, 2008.

Angela M. Cobleigh, 23, of Falmouth was found guilty on a charge of possession of marijuana in Scarborough on Feb. 17, 2008, and was fined $350. She was also found guilty on a charge of sale and use of drug paraphernalia and was fined $300.

Kevin J. Daigle, 57, of Acton, Mass., had a filing without conditions on a charge of rule violation – duty status not current – in Scarborough on Jan. 18, 2008.

Daigle Trans. Inc. of Acton, Mass., was found guilty on a charge of rule violation – unsafe loading – in Scarborough on Jan. 18, 2008, and was fined $100.

Matthew S. Dyer, 30, of Falmouth was found guilty on a charge of possession of marijuana in Scarborough on Feb. 17, 2008, and was fined $350.

Zachary L. Esposito, 26, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of possession of marijuana in Gorham on Feb. 26, 2008, and was fined $350. He was also found guilty on a charge of sale and use of drug paraphernalia and was fined $300.

Kristina M. Gagnon, 23, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of possession of marijuana in Gorham on Feb. 26, 2008, and was fined $350. She was also found guilty on a charge of sale and use of drug paraphernalia and was fined $300.

John Heger, 19, of Scarborough requested a jury trial on charges of operating while license was suspended or revoked and violating condition of release in South Portland on Feb. 12, 2008.

Lindsay Homstead, 24, of South Portland had a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Portland on May 14, 2007, dismissed.

Jamie R. Hussey, 26, of South Portland requested a jury trial on a charge of operating under the influence in South Portland on Feb. 10, 2008.

William Hustus, 19, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of motor vehicle speeding: more than 20 mph over speed limit in Scarborough on June 22, 2007 (no fine listed).

Eurie D. MacLean, 48, of Cardigan paid by waiver a fine of $250 for rule violation, operating 14 hour rule in South Portland on Jan. 26, 2008.

Moises T. Merrill, 27, of Auburn was found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked in Scarborough on Feb. 9, 2008, and was fined $250. A charge of unlawful use of license was dismissed.

Kyle E. Pray, 33, of Windham requested a jury trial on charges of domestic violence assault and criminal trespass in South Portland on March 1, 2008.

Scott A. Taube, 44, of Scarborough was found guilty on a charge of operating unregistered snowmobile in Gorham on Jan. 27, 2008, and was fined $100.

Trans Solutions Inc. of Madison, Ga., paid by waiver a fine of $100 for no proof of periodic inspection in South Portland on Jan. 25, 2008, and paid by waiver a fine of $200 for failing to obtain operating authority license in South Portland on Jan. 25, 2008.

Jonas E. Washington, 27, of Biddeford was found guilty on a charge of failing to provide correct name, address, date of birth in Scarborough on Feb. 23, 2008, and was fined $150.
