On June 21, Windham will be holding the Summerfest ’08 event that will include a morning parade, various events and vendors and will end with a fireworks show that night.

The Windham Police Department truly wishes this to be a safe event that families and people of all ages can enjoy. The Windham Police Department will be well represented at Summerfest ’08 to insure the security and safety of all the participants. Any disruptive or criminal conduct, including the consumption of alcohol or other drugs will not be tolerated. Any infraction of the rules set up by the Summerfest Committee or violations of law will result in the person(s) in violation being ordered to leave the grounds and/or possibly face criminal charges.

We expect that everyone attending Summerfest ’08 will respect their fellow participants, vendors and Summerfest staff and make this a fun occasion that will be enjoyed by all and not be marred by unacceptable behavior.
