On Saturday, May 24, at 1:04 a.m., police responded to a report of suspects attempting to break into unlocked cars at Coach Lantern Lane West. The perpetrators were described as two juvenile males who had been seen riding in a Chevy S10 blazer.

On Monday, May 26, at 12:33 a.m., police responded to a 911 call on Elmwood Avenue., where police say a man knocked down and kicked a woman, and threw the phone when she tried to call 911. Police arrested Matthew Grondin, 35, 69 Elmwood Ave., for domestic violence assault and obstructing report of a crime.

On Monday, May 26, at 1:31 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Payne Road and Haigis Parkway and arrested Taryn Angel, 23, 106 West Shore Road, East Waterboro, on a charge of operating under the influence. According to police, Angel had driven off the road and struck a fire hydrant, and her vehicle had come to rest down an embankment in a ditch.

On Wednesday, May 28, at 3:13 p.m., police responded to a report of a fight at the high school. A 15-year-old male was summonsed for assaulting a 16-year-old male.
