Cumberland County Superior Court

The following cases were decided in Cumberland County Superior Court in November 2007:

Bridgton

Christopher Avery, 28, of Bridgton was found guilty on a charge of operating after habitual offender revocation, prior in Windham May 31, 2007 and was fined $1,000 and sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 9 months. He was found guilty on a charge of violating condition of release and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 6 months. He was found guilty on a charge of operating after habitual offender revocation, prior in Portland June 29, 2007 and was fined $1,000 and sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 9 months. He was found guilty on two charges of violating condition of release and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 6 months on each charge. He was found guilty on a charge of operating after habitual offender revocation, prior in Bridgton June 16, 2007 and was fined $1,000 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 9 months. He was found guilty on a charge of violating condition of release and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 6 months. He was found guilty on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Westbrook Oct. 28, 2006 and was given unconditional discharge.

Kenny L. Beckwith, 43, of Bridgton was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence in Standish March 26, 2007 and was fined $800, Cumberland County Jail for 72 hours and had license suspended for 90 days.

William C. Chambers, 48, of Harrison was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence – no test, 2 priors in Bridgton Feb. 12, 2007 and was fined $2,500, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 4 years and had license suspended for 6 years. He was found guilty on charges of operating a vehicle without a license and failure to register vehicle and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 30 days on each charge.

Dean Littlefield, 47, of Bridgton was found guilty on a charge of assault in Casco July 16, 2005 and was given unconditional discharge. A charge of unlawful sexual touching was dismissed.

Elvine R. Rodriguez, 37, of Brownfield was found guilty on a charge of burglary of a motor vehicle in Bridgton April 25, 2007 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 10 days.

Casco

Jonathan M. Day, 33, of Casco was found guilty on a charge of operating after habitual offender revocation, prior in Windham June 8, 2007 and was fined $1,000 and sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 9 months.

Dean Littlefield, 47, of Bridgton was found guilty on a charge of assault in Casco July 16, 2005 and was given unconditional discharge. A charge of unlawful sexual touching was dismissed.

Michelle L. Mendoza, 28, of Old Orchard Beach was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence – 3+ priors in Casco Dec. 7, 2006 and was fined $2,100, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 3 years, all but 6 months suspended, given probation of 2 years and had license suspended for 6 years. She was also found guilty on a charge of operating while license was suspended or revoked – OUI and was fined $200.

Gray

Christopher Hamblet, Jr., 33, of Gray violated probation on a charge of robbery in Windham May 29, 1999 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 100 days, probation partially revoked, probation continued.

Riki Hanks, 47, of Gray was found guilty on two charges of violating condition of release in New Gloucester Oct. 19, 2006 and one charge of violating condition of release in New Gloucester Oct. 23, 2006 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 18 months on each charge.

Charity E. Hatch, 26, of Gray was found guilty on a charge of driving to endanger in Gray March 9, 2007 and was fined $700, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 10 days and had license suspended for 30 days. A charge of operating under the influence – 1 prior was dismissed.

Scott A. Mills, 43, of Bethel was found guilty on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Gray July 30, 2007 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 60 days.

Jina Reynolds, 24, of Gray was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence in Portland April 28, 2007 and was fined $800 and had license suspended for 90 days.

Michelle Sanborn, 23, of Gray was found guilty on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in South Portland May 21, 2007 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 7 days. She was also found guilty on a charge of theft by deception in South Portland July 25, 2007 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 7 days, restitution $377.85.

Allyson Tarling, 38, of Gray was found guilty on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Gray on Aug. 1, 2003 and was sentenced to Department of Corrections for 3 years, all but 90 days suspended, given probation of 3 years, restitution $41,381.71.

Brent Wilmot, 35, of Laconia, N.H. had a charge of operating under the influence in Gray June 24, 2007 dismissed.

Naples

Timothy Currier, 31, of Naples was found guilty on a charge of reckless conduct in Raymond March 22, 2007 and was fined $800. Charges of operating under the influence and driving to endanger were both dismissed.

Jessica Ford, 20, of Naples was found guilty on a charge of burglary in Naples Oct. 9, 2006 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 5 years, all but 30 days suspended, given probation of 3 years, restitution $8,300. She was also found guilty on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 5 years, all but 30 days suspended.

Theodore W. Hocking, 56, of Baldwin had a charge of operating under the influence in Naples May 19, 2007 dismissed.

Michael James Ross, 27, of Naples had a charge of assault in Naples April 29, 2007 dismissed.

New Gloucester

Paul Cress, 58, of Lewiston was found guilty on a charge of driving to endanger in New Gloucester Aug. 27, 2005 and was fined $575, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 2 days and had license suspended for 30 days. A charge of operating under the influence was dismissed.

Noah Fralich, 22, of New Gloucester was found guilty on a charge of driving to endanger in Windham Aug. 16, 2007 and was fined $750 and had license suspended for 30 days. A charge of operating under the influence was dismissed.

Gerald O. Rideout, 63, of Lewiston was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence – 1 prior in New Gloucester May 29, 2007 and was fined $800, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 180 days, all but 14 days suspended, given probation of 1 year and had license suspended for 18 months. He was also found guilty on a charge of violating condition of release and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 14 days.

Raymond

Jeremy Alley, 28, of Raymond was found guilty on one charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and three charges of forgery in Standish Jan. 9, 2007 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 5 years, all but 9 months suspended, given probation of 2 years, restitution $1,535.

Scott R. Gardner (no date of birth given) of Raymond was found guilty on charges of criminal mischief and criminal trespass in Raymond July 17, 2007 and was fined $250 on each charge. A charge of assault was dismissed.

Jonathan Lydick, 24, of Westbrook was found guilty on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Raymond Jan. 1, 2005 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 45 days.

Samuel R. MacLean, 25, of Raymond had a charge of operating after habitual offender revocation in Scarborough May 26, 2007 dismissed.

Hans Mulligan, 21, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Raymond July 2, 2005 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 30 days.

Thomas E. Roberge, 51, of Raymond was found guilty on a charge of driving to endanger in Falmouth June 20, 2007 and was fined $575, sentenced County Jail for 3 days and had license suspended for 30 days.

Standish

Kevin Avanzato, 37, of Standish was found guilty on a charge of driving to endanger in Windham June 23, 2007 and was fined $1,000, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 2 days and had license suspended for 30 days. A charge of operating under the influence was dismissed.

David A. Barrett, 20, of Standish was found guilty on a charge of criminal mischief in Westbrook Sept. 4, 2006 and was fined $250, He was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence and was fined $500 and had license suspended for 90 days. A charge of operating a vehicle without a license-cond /restric was dismissed. He was found guilty on a charge of unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Cape Elizabeth Sept. 22, and was fined $400. A charge of failing to make oral or written accident report was dismissed. He was found guilty on a charge of operating a vehicle without a license – cond/restric in Standish and was fined $500.

Patrick J. Bateson, 21, of Andover, Mass. was found guilty on a charge of operating a vehicle without a license-cond/restric in Standish March 2, 2007 and was fined $400.

Kenny L. Beckwith, 43, of Bridgton was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence in Standish on March 26, 2007 and was fined $800, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 72 hours and had license suspended for 90 days.

Jeffrey A. Cannell, 37, of Standish was found guilty on a charge of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon in Standish on June 13, 2003 and was sentenced to Department of Corrections for 1 year, 6 months, all but 30 days suspended, given probation of 2 years and unconditional discharge.

Charles E. Colvin, 37, of Standish was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence – 2 priors in Standish on April 22, 2007 and was fined $1100, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 30 days and had license suspended for 18 months.

John A. Siciliani, 22, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of assault in Standish on Sept. 9, and was sentenced to Department of Corrections for 2 years, all suspended and given probation of 2 years.

Leslie Stevens, 50, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon in Standish on April 19, 2007 and was sentenced to Department of Corrections for 2 years, all suspended and given probation of 2 years.

Charles Teague, 36, of South Portland and Standish was found guilty on a charge of theft by receiving stolen property in Standish July 30, 2007 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 67 days. Charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, criminal restraint and violating condition of release were all dismissed. He was found guilty on a charge of assault in Standish April 23, 2007 and was fined $300 and sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 7 days. He was found guilty on a charge of assault in Standish July 9, 2007 and was fined $300 and sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 7 days. A second charge of assault was dismissed.

Thomas Tibbetts, 24, of Steep Falls was found guilty on a charge of reckless conduct in Standish Aug. 6, 2004 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 364 days, all suspended, given probation of 1 year, restitution $100. Four charges of aggravated assault in Standish Aug. 6, 2006 were all dismissed.

John J. Williams, 24, of Standish was found guilty on a charge of violating condition of release in South Portland April 22, 2007 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 48 hours.

Willie York, III, 30, of Standish was found guilty on a charge of violating condition of release in Standish Aug. 23, and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 4 days. Also found guilty on a charge of unlawful possession of scheduled drug and was fined $400. A second charge of unlawful possession of scheduled drug was dismissed.

Windham

Carmen Ackerman, 51, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of theft by deception in Windham Nov. 13, 2003 and was fined $200.

Michael D. Bowden, 30, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of reckless conduct in Westbrook July 4, 2005 and was sentenced to Department of Corrections for 2 years, all but 6 months suspended and given probation of 2 years.

Sharon Burgess, 48, of South Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence – 1 prior in Windham April 6, 2007 and was fined $800, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 10 days and had license suspended for 18 months.

Robert Burrill, 33, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence – 1 prior in Windham May 12, 2007 and was fined $800, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 10 days and had license suspended for 18 months.

William C. Chambers, 48, of Harrison was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence – 3+ priors in Windham Feb. 5, 2007and was fined $2,100, sentenced to Department of Corrections for 5 years, all but 18 months suspended, given probation of 2 years and had license suspended for 6 years.

Theresa M. Foster, 46, of Casco was found guilty on a charge of violating condition of release in Windham April 18, 2007 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 36 hours.

Noah Fralich, 22, of New Gloucester was found guilty on a charge of driving to endanger in Windham Aug. 16, and was fined $750 and had license suspended for 30 days. A charge of operating under the influence was dismissed.

Michael Goodwin, 50, of Lewiston was found guilty on a charge of disorderly conduct in Windham June 18, 2005 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 5 days.

Kristofer Greene, 30, of Portland had a filing without conditions on a charge of assault in Windham July 4, 2007.

Jessica Jensen, 28, of Portland was found guilty on a charge of unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Windham March 16, 2007 and was fined $400 and sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 6 months, all suspended and given probation of 1 year. A charge of unlawful possession of Oxycodone was dismissed.

Anthony Kostopoulos, 20, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of motor vehicle speeding: 30+ mph over speed limit in Falmouth March 10, 2007 and was fined $1,000.

Erin Lebel, 28, of Gorham was found guilty on a charge of driving to endanger in Windham June 24, 2007 and was fined $650 and had license suspended for 30 days.

James Lewis, 18, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of driving to endanger in Windham June 12, 2007 and was fined $575 and had license suspended for 60 days.

Gary Marston, 31, of Gorham was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence in Windham April 22, 2007 and was fined $650, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 72 hours and had license suspended for 90 days.

Adam Mathieu, 27, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence – no test in Portland April 15, 2007 and was fined $850 and had license suspended for 90 days. He was also found guilty on a charge of refusing to sign summons and was fined $150. A charge of operating after registration was suspended was dismissed.

Hans Mulligan, 21, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Raymond July 2, 2005 and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 30 days.

Douglas O’Clair, 45, of Buxton was found guilty on a charge of driving to endanger in Windham April 21, 2007 and was fined $575. A charge of operating under the influence was dismissed.

John A. Siciliani, 22, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of assault in Standish Sept. 9, and was sentenced to Department of Corrections for 2 years, all suspended and given probation of 2 years.

Leslie Stevens, 50, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon in Standish April 19, 2007 and was sentenced to Department of Corrections for 2 years, all suspended and given probation of 2 years. A charge of burglary was dismissed.

Michelle Theriault, 22, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of forgery in Windham Nov. 28, 2006 and was fined $250. A charge of theft by deception was dismissed.

Rafael Villanueva, 40, of Windham was found guilty on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in South Portland Feb. 1, 2006 and was sentenced to Department of Corrections for 18 months, all but 4 days suspended, given probation of 2 years, restitution $6,000.

William Welch, 50, of Portland was found guilty on a charge of operating under the influence – 1 prior in Windham April 22, 2007 and was fined $700, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 120 days, all but 10 days suspended, given probation of 1 year and had license suspended for 18 months. He was also found guilty on a charge of operating a vehicle without a license-cond/restric and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 2 days.

Kevin W. Wickham, 20, of Cumberland was found guilty on a charge of assault in Windham June 27, 2007 and was fined $300, sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 9 months, all but 55 days suspended and given probation of 2 years. He was also found guilty on a charge of violating condition of release and was sentenced to Cumberland County Jail for 9 months.

Feiyan Zheng, 25, of Windham had a charge of assault in Windham April 28, 2006 dismissed.
