Students from fourth- through sixth-grades in School Administrative District 6 figured and factored their way to victory in the 20th annual Spring Math Meet held April 12 at Bonny Eagle High School.

There were 139 students competing for top honors in arithmetic, geometry and problem solving. Fifty fourth-graders, 58 fifth-graders and 31 sixth-graders solved a variety of challenging math problems, with 86 ribbons awarded, 28 for perfect scores. Additionally, the top three scorers in each grade were recognized for their outstanding performances.

Veronica Druchniak and Abby Ward, sixth-graders at Bonny Eagle Middle School, were named co-champions of the meet, each earning the most points possible with perfect tests in the three categories.
