School straw vote

The Gorham Elementary School Building Committee will take a straw poll on Monday, April 28, from 7-8:30 p.m., in the Gorham Municipal Center, 75 South St., for a site off Sebago Lake Road for a new school

The straw poll, a show of hands, will follow a presentation about the site the committee has selected. The new kindergarten-Grade 5 school would replace the existing White Rock School.

A new school would have to be approved by Gorham voters in a referendum.

All Gorham citizens are invited to attend.
