Naples Public Safety dispatchers declined to comment on the cause of a fire that destroyed a home at 348 Thompson’s Point Road early Sunday morning.

No one was reported injured in the fire, which was discovered by neighbors at around 1 a.m. The home was owned by Theodore Tocci and Holly Polk, who did not return calls asking about the fire.

The Naples Fire Department responded to the fire, but did not ask the Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office to help investigate the cause of the fire. Naples dispatchers would confirm only the site of the fire, homeowner’s names and time of the call to the fire department.

An early morning fire Sunday destroyed a home on Thompson’s Point Road in Naples. The cuase of the fire has not been released by the Naples Fire Department, and the Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office has not been asked to investigate.
