Valentine Tea
Standish Recreation hosted a Valentine’s Day Tea Party on Saturday for the town’s littlest members; toddlers.
Close to 20 toddlers attended the tea and were treated to swizzle sticks, cupcakes, chocolate hearts and other tasty treats.
“It’s really fun,” said Emma Noonan, 5, who was accompanied by her grandparents.
Noonan was dressed to the nines as were all other toddlers in attendance. Some even dressed up their dolls.
“We’re Cinderella,” said Lauren Beesley, 3, who was dressed as the most famous Disney Princess as was her doll.
Others brought American girl dolls with coordinated outfits.
Besides the treats, toddlers were treated to story time, crafts, and music.
“We thought this would be a lot of fun for the girls,” said Standish Recreation’s After School Program Director Alice Alexander. “We wanted to do something fun and different.”
