The Westbrook American reported on Dec. 5, 1962, that Philip Paige, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Paige, Main Street, had left for training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.

Bonny Eagle High School announced that two Buxton students were presidents of their classes. They were Mark Eastman, senior class, and Chris Libby, freshman. The other presidents were Olivia Harmon, Hollis, junior class; and Ronald Tiska, Steep Falls, sophomore.
