Lots of houses were once located on Route 302, before it was known as the commercial district. The latest acquisition at Windham Historical Society is this very old photo of the Mains house on Route 302 in North Windham. Later it was the home of the Browns, shown here. The first name is unknown, and if anyone has information about this family, please contact Kay Soldier. It’s believed this house was located about where Gordon’s Outboard was first built.
