The Commission on Public Secondary Schools has voted to award the Bonny Eagle High School continued accreditation in the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
According to staff at Bonny Eagle, the commission congratulated the school administration and faculty for completing the first two phases of the accreditation program, namely a self-study and an evaluation visit. The next step will be the follow-up process during which the school will implement valid recommendations in the evaluation report. The commission’s follow-up seminars will help the administration and the faculty develop a schedule for implementing valid recommendations.
The school’s accreditation status will be reviewed when the commission considers the Two-Year Progress Report.
“Our dedicated hard work has paid off. We are a fully accredited high school and proud of it,” said Sue Orlowski, cooperative education coordinator at Bonny Eagle High School.
