Under the leadership of teacher Don Denico, Bonny Eagle High School construction class students recently erected a pergola at Steep Falls Elementary School.

A pergola is a shaded space and outdoor classroom for use by the staff, students and community. Rick Perrault and Kenny Young from district maintenence also helped out with the undertaking.

The pergola project was directed by school volunteer Mary McNeil with help from teacher Debbie LaBrecque. Funding was proved by the Steep Falls Parent Teacher group.
