Audrey L. Douglass and Timothy P. Nickels were married on Aug. 18 at the First Baptist Church of Bar Harbor. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Scott T. Records. A reception followed at the Bar Harbor Inn.
The bride is the daughter of Genella and Jeffrey Douglass of Baldwin and works in Windham. The groom is the son of Patricia and William Nickels of Bar Harbor. Nickels was also a recent live-in student intern at Standish and Gorham fire departments.
The bridal party included grandmother of the bride Janet Douglass; matron of honor Mary Miller; bridesmaids Callie Conley, Mackenzie Cypher and Shannon Schimf; and flower girl Keira Greene.
The groom’s party included best man Craig Crosby; groomsmen Eric Johnson, Ryan Dennett and CJ Dehass; ring bearer Colby Sanborn; honorary groomsmen Justin Fickett, Paul Hammond and Drew Kropff.
The bride graduated from Sacopee Valley High School and Southern Maine Community College. The groom graduated from Mount Desert Island High School and Southern Maine Community College.
After enjoying a honeymoon road trip to Boston, Maryland, Washington D.C., Chicago and Niagara Falls the couple now resides in Waterville.
